Composition of the Water-cooled AL-EMS system :

AL-EMS (Including platform trolley) + Electrical control system + Water cooling system

The AL-EMS consists of the inductor, mounting base, water piping assembly, copper busbar assembly, sealing components, cooling fan (air-cooled type), and housing, etc.

The trolley consists of the travel mechanism, lifting mechanism, hydraulic system, trolley frame, and drag chain. The travel mechanism includes a travel motor, reducer, and gear transmission mechanism.

The water cooling system consists of a DM water tank, DM water pump, plate heat exchanger, instrumentation, and stainless-steel piping. It provides monitoring functions including flow, temperature, pressure,  liquid level, and water quality.

Temperature Homogenization

In an unstirred melt bath, the temperature difference between the top and bottom is typically 50–80 ℃.

With Al-EMS forced circulation, the top-to-bottom temperature difference can be reduced to below 6 ℃ within 6 minutes after start-up, while significantly increasing the alloy dissolution rate.


Energy savings

By maximizing the temperature difference between the melt surface and the furnace roof, heat transfer to the melt is improved. By reducing heat loss and enhancing heat transfer, energy savings can reach up to 15%.
